ABSTRACT
In determining the economic conditions, inflation needs to get serious attention from the government, especially the monetary authority responsible for controlling inflation.
Based on producer and consumer inflation perceptions influence economic decisions. Inflation in Bandung municipality and district in general are caused by rising fuel prices, increase salaries of civil servants and private employees, the high demand itself and the increase in demand due to religious holidays. The tendency of the increasing prices of goods will also be very much influenced by the availability of supply and distribution of goods. This should be a concern to be dealt with by the government of Bandung municipality and district in maintaining a smooth supply of goods. The results obtained can be concluded that inflation can be considered adaptive, have a dominant contribution in giving effect to the economy.

1.PENDAHULUAN
1.1 Latar Belakang
Inflasi berperan penting dalam menentukan kondisi perekonomian, sehingga perlu mendapatkan perhatian serius dari berbagai kalangan khususnya otoritas moneter yang bertanggung jawab mengendalikan inflasi. Inflasi mempengaruhi keputusan-keputusan ekonomi seperti penetapan harga dan upah, konsumsi dan investasi. Melalui keputusan –keputusan tersebut, inflasi secara langsung maupun tidak langsung mempengaruhi perekonomian. Bila masyarakat mempersepsikan inflasi yang tinggi maka akan berpengaruh terhadap perekonomian secara keseluruhan. Oleh karena itu perlu diketahui seberapa besar pengaruh inflasi tersebut terhadap tingkat perekonomian yang terjadi di kotamadya dan kabupaten Bandung.

Inflasi berperan penting dalam menentukan kondisi perekonomian, sehingga perlu mendapatkan perhatian serius dari berbagai kalangan khususnya otoritas moneter yang bertanggung jawab mengendalikan inflasi. Inflasi mempengaruhi keputusan-keputusan ekonomi seperti penetapan harga dan upah, konsumsi dan investasi. Melalui keputusan –keputusan tersebut, inflasi secara langsung maupun tidak langsung mempengaruhi perekonomian. Bila masyarakat mempersepsikan inflasi yang tinggi maka akan berpengaruh terhadap perekonomian secara keseluruhan. Oleh karena itu perlu diketahui seberapa besar pengaruh inflasi tersebut terhadap tingkat perekonomian yang terjadi di kotamadya dan kabupaten Bandung.
